Hyrule Warriors Age Of Imprisonment Gets Insight Via Creator’s Voice

Working together to save Hyrule!

When the Nintendo Switch 2 gaming lineup was shown in part in April, Hyrule Warriors Age Of Imprisonment was not on anyone’s bingo cards. After all, we had JUST gotten a Zelda game last year (and it was good!), so no one thought we’d get another so quickly. Granted, this is a Koei Tecmo-style Warriors game, so it is a bit different. Plus, the setting of the “Imprisoning War” was another unexpected twist. Today, Nintendo dropped its latest “Creator’s Voice” video, with two heads of Koei Tecmo coming together to talk about not only their view on gaming itself, but what the upcoming title has to offer.

The duo did mention that Hyrule Warriors Age Of Imprisonment would improve upon the Switch versions of the franchise, including allowing more enemies on screen and having better framerates because of the console’s improved hardware. Plus, we learned that we’ll learn more about the sages who helped Princess Zelda, King Rauru, and Queen Sonia in their fight against Ganondorf. They also teased “ancient secrets” that you’ll get to explore as you go about journeying through this ancient version of Hyrule.

The game is set for a winter release. Check out the Creator’s Voice video below:
