On June 24, the official music video for “PAPPAPARADISE” featuring special guest Hiroto Komoto, was released. The track is included on the“PAPPAPARADISE” EP, which was also released the same day.
The video is directed by filmmaker Tomokazu Yamada, who also helmed the original “PAPPAPARADISE” music video. In the original, Hikaru Utada appeared as a taxi driver, with the narrative unfolding around that setting. In this new version, the story follows Hiroto Komoto and Hikaru Utada as they ride together on a motorcycle.
Following the announcement of the music video, fans expressed excitement across social media, with comments such as, “It’s hard to describe… it feels like a kind of grown-up nostalgia,” “I’m really looking forward to this,” and “What is this?! Such a dream collaboration!”
In conjunction with the release, a special conversation video featuring Hiroto Komoto and Hikaru Utada will premiere today, June 24 at 21:00 (JST).
