GKIDS Announces Ghibli Fest Theatrical Slate for 2025

GKIDS has announced eight Studio Ghibli films that will return to theaters this year as part of their 2025 Ghibli Fest! The movies will begin to hit theaters as early as next month (May)!

Below are the dates and movies that will be returning to theaters:

Ghibli Fest

  • Kiki’s Delivery Service — May 17, 18 & 21 (English), May 19 & 20 (Japanese)
  • The Secret World of Arrietty — June 22 & 24 (English), June 23 (Japanese)
  • My Neighbor Totoro — July 19, 20 & 23 (English), July 21-22 (Japanese)
  • Grave of the Fireflies — August 10-12 (Japanese Dub only)
  • Ponyo — August 23, 24 & 27 (English), August 25 & 26 (Japanese)
  • Howl’s Moving Castle — September 20, 21 & 24 (English), September 22-23 (Japanese)
  • Spirited Away — October 18, 19 & 22 (English), October 20-21 (Japanese)
  • The Boy and the Heron — November 15, 16 & 19 (English), November 17-18 (Japanese)
