Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has been bringing about their DLC characters starting this month with Andy Bogard coming back to the King of Fighters tournament. To add more fuel to the fire will be one from Capcom’s Street Fighter stable.
As Andy is to Terry as a rival, Ken is the Ryu to a folly and somewhat brother. Also, according to the devs, Ken is Terry’s crossover rival. Terry has already been in Street Fighter VI since last year, with Mai, who was released this winter. Surprisingly, Ken will be taking a solo trip to South Town later this summer. Well, before Chun-Li follows him later on in the DLC run.
As to why the stop, it could be due to Ken’s recent struggle within the Street Fighter VI story, and he could still be a fugitive. Perhaps Terry will not only give him a place to lay low, but also someone to light that spark. Ken’s new look seems to be his go-to for SNK’s render.
Also, this is where his kit’s inspiration will mostly come from. His usual Shotokan three will probably be there, such as his fireball Hadouken, uppercut being his Shoryuken, and his Hurricane Kick. This will be SNK’s third run of him as an actual fighting game character, so with the REV system, the sky could be the limit. SNK’s ideas can be just as wild as Capcom’s.
For instance, SNK was responsible for taking Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie’s brainwashed Violent Ken out of the movie and into SNK vs Capcom: Chaos. Capcom followed suit afterwards and got him into Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.

Thanks to Evo USA 2025 starting on August 1st, Ken will be playable at the SNK booth for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. SNK had used Evo Japan 2025 as a battleground for Andy’s beta test. Seeing how Ken will take on the Wolves will be the topic of discussion during that special weekend.
