Elden Ring Nightreign Gets A Release Date and A Collector’s Edition

By Keith MitchellFebruary 12, 2025
Elden Ring Nightreign Collectors Edition

While we wait for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test to begin, Bandai Namco had another surprise: the official release date announcement for Elden Ring Nightreign. The game is set to launch on May 30, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That places its release right in the heart of Spring 2025, just as many of us will be itching to get outside and shake off the winter chill. I suppose sitting down to play one of the most anticipated games of 2025 will drag us back into the house.

But that’s not all—Elden Ring Nightreign will be available in three different editions:
Elden Ring Nightreign Standard and Digital

  • Standard Edition – Includes just the base game.

  • Digital Deluxe Edition – Comes with a digital copy of the game, a digital artbook, a mini soundtrack, and DLC featuring additional playable characters and bosses.

  • Collector’s Edition – The ultimate version, and the one I’ll be going for. It includes:
    Elden Ring Nightreign Collectors Edition

    • Physical Copy – A physical disc for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, or a physical STEAM voucher for PC.
    • Standalone Adventure – Elden Ring Nightreign is a new, self-contained journey within the Elden Ring universe, reimagining the game’s core design for a fresh experience.
    • Additional DLC – Extra content will be available post-launch, with details to be announced later.
    • Statue of Wylder – A stunning 25cm replica of Wylder, the nomadic warrior in pursuit of the Night Lord, crafted by Pure Arts.
    • SteelBook Case – A premium metal case featuring a full-color illustration of Wylder, perfect for protecting and displaying the game.
    • Nightfarer Cards – A set of eight high-quality tarot-style cards featuring detailed illustrations of the Nightfarers, offering a glimpse into Limveld’s fate.
    • Exclusive Hardcover Artbook – A 40-page book filled with never-before-seen concept art, sketches, and full-color illustrations of Elden Ring: Nightreign. (Size: 24 x 21 cm, Language: English)
    • Digital Soundtrack – A downloadable version of the game’s fully orchestrated original soundtrack, bringing the world of Limveld to life.
    • Collector’s Box – A beautifully designed case to store or display the statue and artbook.

Anyone who pre-orders either version will also receive the “It’s Raining bonus gesture”, which will be possible to acquire within the game.

Well, we finally got the Elden Ring Nightreign release date—and interestingly, it lines up pretty closely with when Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree dropped. Now, all that’s left to do is wait.

Tell me you aren’t excited. And if you aren’t, I sure the hell am.
