It was recently announced that EA Sports is bringing Esports to its EA SPORTS FC Mobile game. How exactly are they doing this? Well, it’s called EA SPORTS FC Pro Mobile, which is the official Esports circuit for EA SPORTS FC Mobile.
The new circuit establishes a premier pathway for mobile gamers through local, regional, and global competition with $350,000 USD in total prizing on the line. Kicking off in June 2026, just in time to capitalize on this year’s FIFA World Cup.
FC Pro Mobile is designed to be accessible yet elite, offering a structured competitive circuit that rewards skill, dedication, and regional pride. With strategic, fast-paced 1v1 gameplay that pushes top-class players to build and pilot effective teams, FC Pro Mobile is slated to be one of the world’s most ambitious mobile football esports ecosystems yet. The competition will be supported by a host of partnered football leagues and federations, as well as top video game publishers, to reinforce its global reach.
The 2026 season is focused on earning a spot at the inaugural FC Pro Mobile World Championship, which will be one of the most prestigious events in mobile football esports history. Players first chance to compete in FC Pro Mobile will be June’s Global Qualifier, followed by a set of partner-organized tournaments. These events offer slots at the Mid-Season Playoffs later in Summer 2026. From there, players will move to competing for slots at the FC Pro Mobile World Championship in a second set of Global Qualifiers in August.
To support the ecosystem’s growth across Asia – the world’s leading mobile gaming market – FC Pro Mobile will also seek out support from flagship publisher partners, including Nexon, Tencent, and Garena. Their network and infrastructure will be critical parts of ensuring that fans in South Korea, China, and Vietnam experience hyper-localized competitions, complete with native language broadcasting, marketing, and more.
The circuit is designed not only to raise the stakes of top-tier EA SPORTS FC Mobile gameplay but also to challenge the game’s best players with a new approach to teambuilding and in-game tactics. This includes introducing FC Pro Draft to mobile competition, pushing participants to build diverse teams. This makes competition engaging for both players and viewers, with a variety of teams, items and players likely to be used across the year’s competition.
The debut season will then reach an epic conclusion as 32 of the world’s best players battle for four days at the $250,000 USD FC Pro Mobile World Championship in October 2026. This must-watch event will crown the first ever FC Pro Mobile World Champion, the culmination of months of top-level competition.
While I’m not someone who has played the mobile version of FC before, if I were ever going to, then this would be the time. Esports feels at home with EA Sports FC, and enhancing that offering on mobile can only be a good thing. If you play EA SPORTS FC Mobile, let us know what you think about this new Esports integration? Will you be engaging with it?
Players can gear up for competition by downloading EA SPORTS FC Mobile on the Apple and Google Play stores today.
