Dragon Eclipse: The Grand Quest Hits Gamefound on December 2nd

Dragon Eclipse: The Grand Quest

Awaken Realms has officially confirmed that Dragon Eclipse: The Grand Quest will launch on December 2nd on Gamefound, marking the next major expansion to their creature-taming, tactical card-driven adventure game. The countdown is already live, and early interest is spiking as fans prepare to dive back into the Eclipse-struck world of Mystlings.

This new campaign aims to build on what made Dragon Eclipse stand out – fast tactical lane-based combat, controlled deckbuilding, and a creature-development system that taps into the “build your team” excitement without falling into collectible-card bloat. Awaken Realms has hinted at new quests, new Mystlings, and expanded systems designed to deepen the experience without overwhelming players.

For newcomers, the campaign appears structured to offer an easy entry point into the world. For returning players, it looks poised to deliver meaningful additions rather than a simple content dump. Given Awaken Realms’ track record with iterative campaign waves, we can expect stretch goals, upgraded components, and possibly new modes as more details roll out.

I’ll be linking my full Dragon Eclipse review alongside the campaign launch for anyone wanting an in-depth breakdown of the core game before deciding whether to jump into The Grand Quest.

The official Gamefound page (with the live countdown) can be found here:

We’ll keep following updates as December 2nd approaches, including final pricing, reveals, and content breakdowns as they go live.
