Given the nature of the video game world right now, there are many who don’t just look at video games for their fun or even their stories. Instead, people look at them to see how “tough it’ll be to beat.” Even when it’s games like Donkey Kong Bananza, which you know won’t be the most challenging game around, there are people asking whether there will be “hard levels” to overcome, or whether it’ll be “easy throughout.” One such question came up with the team during an interview with La Vanguardia. When asked, producer Kenta Motokura stated:
The game is not only designed for longtime Donkey Kong fans, but also as a completely new and accessible installment for players with little experience with video games. There are harder levels for those looking for a challenge, but also easier ones for those less experienced.
Donkey Kong Bananza Director Kazuya Takahashi added:
As you play, Donkey Kong becomes stronger, and as a result, it becomes easier to advance, so I think it’s a game that a wide audience can enjoy. And if they still struggle, there’s also an assist mode and a two-player co-op mode where another player can help you out. The two-player mode was designed for friends or parents and children.
We’re sure those parents and kids will also want to check out the rumored Donkey Kong movie if it comes out this decade, but in the meantime, it’s clear that players of all ages will enjoy this title when it arrives THIS THURSDAY!
