Does The Nintendo Switch 2 Have Some Big 3rd-Party Reveals Imminent?

By Todd BlackJuly 14, 2025
Nintendo Switch 2

Ever since the Nintendo Switch 2 launched last month, people have been asking all sorts of questions about the games that’ll be played on it long-term. We’re about to get a huge release via Donkey Kong Bananza, but regarding 3rd-party titles, we’ve only had ports so far. Plus, the only exclusive that’s been announced, The Duskbloods by From Software, isn’t coming out until next year. It would be a true disservice not to have any big exclusives come out this year. So, we must ask the question of where they all are.

The answer may have been revealed by insider Nate The Hate. On the latest episode of his show, he revealed:

“Capcom, Sega, Ubisoft, Namco, and many others are just waiting. They have games they want to announce. Switch 2 has a lot of support coming.”

That makes sense, especially after the initial sales for the console and Mario Kart World. The Nintendo Switch 2 is the hottest thing on the market, and 3rd-party developers will want to capitalize on its success while the iron is hot. You can hear Nate’s full thoughts in the episode below:
