The second I heard that legendary lyric “yeah, yeah, yeah,” from The Offspring song All I Want. Without even looking at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026. I knew exactly what was being shown and immediately stopped writing another news article to enjoy the reveal of Crazy Taxi: World Tour.
We have of course known for a while that SEGA was working on a new Crazy Taxi game. However, that didn’t stop this reveal from bringing a small tear to my eye as a life long Crazy Taxi and SEGA Dreamcast fan.
The new game adds an in-depth story campaign that unfolds across five unique cities, online multiplayer racing, car customization and a revamped classic mode, all while maintaining the spirit that made the original an icon.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is set to launch in 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S.
