As we’ve covered, the Nintendo Switch 2 is a big deal, and will continue to be a big deal in the days, weeks, and months to come. However, one thing it must do to continue its success is get big 3rd-party titles, especially if they can be launched on the Switch 2 alongside other consoles. Naturally, due to the console’s launch date and how quickly certain dev teams got the dev kits, that wasn’t immediately possible. Thus, we’re seeing many ports arrive on the console, and a new leak points to Assassin’s Creed Shadows being one that’ll drop this December.
The information comes from Dealabs, which states that the game will arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2 on December 5th. That’s very curious, as that’s the day after Metroid Prime 4 comes out. Regardless of the date, undoubtedly, Ubisoft is hoping that the game will do well on the Switch 2 in more ways than one.
Why is that? Well, while Assassin’s Creed Shadows wasn’t a flop, it didn’t do as well as many hoped, including Ubisoft. There was plenty of criticism for the game, and the development costs were incredibly high. Until this port is confirmed, though, you must consider this nothing more than a rumor.
