AiScReam’s “Ai♡Scream!” Dominates the Charts

By Josh PiedraApril 25, 2025

AiScReam’s debut single “Ai♡Scream!” has gone viral on TikTok and YouTube Shorts, propelling it onto music charts in Japan and around the world.

AiScReam

AiScReam is a special unit formed by members from across the Love Live! series. The song was released in January 2025 and was first performed at the Yokohama show of the “LoveLive! Series Asia Tour 2024 ~Minna de Kanaeru Monogatari~” held in February, where it quickly became a fan favorite.

In early March, a live performance clip was posted on TikTok, sparking a surge of lip-sync and dance videos featuring the catchy line, “○○-chaaan! Hai! Nani ga suki? (What’s your favorite?)” The trend quickly gained momentum as celebrities, influencers, and even K-pop artists joined in, fueling the viral explosion.

Videos related to the song posted on the official Love Live! TikTok account have surpassed 80 million views, with over 500,000 user-generated posts using the track.

The momentum has carried over to music charts as well, with the song holding the No. 1 spot for 19 consecutive days on Spotify Viral Top 50 – Japan, which highlights the most talked-about tracks on social media. It also reached No. 1 on six other Viral Top 50 charts. On the YouTube Shorts Daily Top Songs Ranking, it broke into the Top 50 in 11 countries and continues to dominate charts around the world (as of April 14).

The track has also been featured on the cover art of prominent playlists such as Women of Anime (Spotify), Viral Hit Korea (Spotify), and The Short List (YouTube Music).

AiScReam

AiScReam will host their own live event, “AiScReam presents TOPPING LIVE とけちゃう前に会いに来て♡♡♡,” at Pacifico Yokohama on September 6–7, 2025! Stay tuned for more from this rising unit!
