Dark Souls III Expansion the Ringed City Announced for PS4,Xbox One and PC

By Keith MitchellJanuary 23, 2017

Here we go, this is what I needed to start the day. The second DLC expansion for Dark Souls III has finally been announced. Thankfully, this time it doesn’t seem like we’re getting a PVP based expansion. Dark Souls III: The Ringed City will have players chasing after a new character, the Slave Knight. From the information provided, it seems this will extend the original story of the Dark Soul III story.

Gael, the Slave Knight, who apparently is looking for the Dark Soul of humanity, will stop at nothing to accomplish its goal. You may remember this fellow from Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel, he’s the one who got you snatched away. Along the way, players can expect to encounter ancient beasts, new characters, as well as stumble across new magics, armors, weapons and of course a long lost city. Sounds like my kind of fun.

The Dark Souls III: The Ringed City DLC will cost $14.99 and will be released on March 28, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
