Square-Enix offers Mystery Box for Christmas

It seems that everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit and making insane deals to get your to spend your Christmas cash with them. Square-Enix, the publisher of the great to average (depending on who you read) Final Fantasy XV, is jumping on board the Christmas discount deal train with a Mystery Box.

What’s in the Mystery Box you ask? Who knows! All we know is that you get 7 Square-Enix titles delivered to you to be activated on Steam. A search of the Steam Store for Square-Enix pulls up 8 pages of games and DLC that can be included with the Mystery Box, but just don’t go getting your hopes up for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Rise of the Tomb Raider or Just Cause 3 as the advertising promises the following:

*Please note: All orders on the Square Enix Holiday Box 2016 are FINAL and refunds or exchanges are not possible with this order.

For only $9.99, get the Square Enix 2016 Holiday Surprise Box featuring over $80 worth of exciting titles for your holiday gaming needs!

With this digital box, you’ll receive 7 PC download games and a special Square Enix Store promotion for a bundle that’s too good to miss out on!
The contents of this exclusive deal will be announced and delivered after 4 am PST on December 20th, 2016.

Over $80 worth of games could still mean you’ll be getting things like Flora’s Fruit Farm & Championship Manager 2008, which are at the lowest end of the price range. For those realists out there, you’ll probably get a mid-range $40 title and 6 $5-$15 games to play. This might be something worth picking up as Square-Enix does have a lot of good games to play, and if you get games you might already have, then you can give the codes to a friend or family member who has a Steam account and pass along some Christmas cheer.

For $9.99, it’s worth a try, especially since last year’s haul includes copies of Final Fantasy XIII, Thief, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, as well as several other titles.
