Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X Demo Now Available

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieAugust 9, 2016

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X Demo Available for Download on PlayStation Store Today; Cross-Buy DLC Outlined

Everyone’s favorite Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, makes her latest appearance on Sony’s gaming platforms today with the demo of Project Diva X being released on the PlayStation Store earlier today. Available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita/TV, the Project Diva X demo will allow aspiring pop stars to “help Hatsune Miku sing and boogie her way through three rump shaking songs — Satisfaction, LOL -lots of laugh-, and Raspberry * Monster.”

These three songs are available to play on two of the four difficulty levels (Easy and Normal.) Players can also unlock different costume modules and an Event Request mode, where players create club bangin’ mix out of the available songs.

You can download the demo for the PS4 and PS Vita at the following links:

Also, Sega has unveiled all of the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X DLC that will be coming out for the game, the majority of which will be available on launch day!

From Concert Editor functionality for the PS Vita to a Shignori Soejima-designed Persona 4: Dancing All Night Elegant Aura costume module, there’s plenty of additional content to help put on a dazzling spectacle.Want to dress Miku up in her finest winter gear? Go for it with the Snow Miku DLC. Don’t have the time to unlock all of the modules? No sweat, the Unlock all Module Keys has you covered (the real challenge is picking the right outfit out of the ~300 available costume)!

All DLC will be Cross-Buy enabled, so you can buy them for the PlayStation 4 version of Project Diva X, and have them available for the PlayStation Vita! The prices will range from free to $7.99, and will be made fully available by September 13th. (Editor’s Note: It’s a lot of DLC, so I won’t list them here.)

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X makes its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita/TV on August 30th, 2016.
