Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Takes the Fight into Space

By Keith MitchellMay 2, 2016

If there’s one thing that can be said about the Call of Duty series, it’s definitely that it’s taken players everywhere. World War II, modern days, the Cold War, the future and now we’re finally going where no man has gone before. Yep, we’re headed to space, that final frontier.  Oddly enough I had expected the Battlefield series to take us there first, but oh well. And in true fashion, Activision and Infinity Ward have given us a trailer that looks like it could be the opening for a movie, but at the same time, this has been true for most of the Call of Duty trailers.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare returns to the roots of the franchise where large-scale war and cinematic, immersive military storytelling take center stage. Prepare for a gripping war story in which players fight against the Settlement Defense Front to defend our very way of life.

Space, we’re actually going to space.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to release on November 4, 2016, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Hey, we’re not done yet! In addition to the new Call of Duty announcement, Activision has also announced that there will be a remastered of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Entitled, wait for it….. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered,  we’ll get to relive the glory days all over again

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full campaign and 10 multiplayer maps from the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare game remastered in stunning high-definition, featuring next generation textures, physically based rendering, high-dynamic range lighting and much more to bring a new generation experience to fans. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is included in the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

However, there’s a catch if you want to get in on this. You’ll have to pick up either the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is only being offered as a digital download only. And before you ask, that also means this is exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
