Microsoft’s lower end Surface Pro 3 to receive a 100$ price cut

By Keith MitchellFebruary 17, 2015

I completely love Microsoft’s Surface 3 Pro series tablet. In fact I feel that they finally got the hardware just right, the design is sleek, that integrated kickstand is fantastic and the thin profile is perfect for on the go or sit at home productivity. However I didn’t like was the price, starting at $799.99 for the lower spec’d version that comes with an Intel i3-4020y, a 128GB SSD for storage and 4GB of memory. And while I ended picking Dell’s Venue 11 7000 Pro, that has slight better specs for a much lower price point, I still wish that Microsoft would drop the price on it.

However it seems that Microsoft has come to it senses, well sort of. From today until February 28, you can pick up a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 for $699.99 and they’ll even throw in a free laptop slew. However just like their Xbox One deal, this is limited until the end of the month. If you’re interested just click the link and check out Microsoft’s online stop to get your very own.
