The second season of the Black Clover TV anime is scheduled to air in 2026. The announcement was made on Sunday at the Jump Festa 2026 event but no details on an exact release date were given. During the event, a promotional video and visual were revealed, which can be viewed below.
Asta, whose right arm manifests demonic powers and fights by imbuing his sword with anti-magic, engages in a spectacular battle alongside Liebe, the anti-magic demon. The visuals for this new series, produced by Studio Pierrot, surpass the visuals of the previous TV series and film with stunning quality.
Studio Pierrot is returning to animate the second season, which will stream on Crunchyroll. The original season aired in four parts from 2017 through 2021 with 170 episodes. The season received an 8.14 score on My Anime List. A movie titled Sword of the Wizard King was released in 2023 and received a 7.98 score.
The original manga by Yūki Tabata was released in its first volume in June 2015. Shueisha released its 37th volume in September 2025.
