The production team behind the Gachiakuta TV Anime announced on Monday that the second season is in production. The announcement was made following the broadcast of the 24th episode and also reveals that a video game is in development.
No release date has been announced but Kodansha revealed two special illustrations to celebrate the announcement. The first is by author Kei Urana while the second is by Hideyoshi Andou.
Gachiakuta: The Game is being developed by South Korean developer Com2Us, who previously developed Summoners War. The game will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X and A, and PC. No release date has been announced, but the trailer can be viewed below.
The first season of Gachiakuta received an 8.19 score from My Anime List. The original manga by Kei Urana had its first volume published in May 2022. Kodansha has released its 17th volume last month.
