Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Headlines Wave 1 of Xbox Game Pass Titles For November 2025

By Sean GarmerNovember 5, 2025
Call of Duty Black Ops 7

The barometer of everything Xbox certainly hinges on a release as big as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Not only has it long been an industry leader in sales for any platform in which it releases, but a case could be made that its inclusion on Xbox Game Pass is a direct cause for its biggest price increase yet.

In other years it was almost a no brainier that COD would be the default best seller, but 2025 has been a landmark year for game releases and now even has direct competition from EA’s Battlefield 6. How it stacks up in the end is yet to be determined, but it is one of the many games coming day one to Xbox Game Pass in this first wave for November 2025.

Being touted as the “biggest Black Ops ever,” Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 features a co-op campaign that sees players go from Japan to the Mediterranean and even inside the mind. The Omnimovement system returns with more improvements that will certainly help maneuvering around A.I. foes in the campaign and human ones in multiplayer. There are 16 6 vs 6 Multiplayer maps and two 20 vs 20 maps at launch with more to come in Season 1 content. Of course, Zombies mode returns as well. However, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will not have early access so everyone has to wait until the actual release date of November 14 to get their hands on everything it has to offer.

Certainly COD is the biggest day one release of wave 1 for this month, but Microsoft seems to be delivering on its promise of more day one titles with five indie titles also hitting the service as well. Dead Static Drive, Egging On, Whiskerwood, Pigeon Simulator, and Winter Burrow.
