Marvel Cosmic Invasion Devs Explain Why Which Heroes Made The Roster

Yes, there's a reason that Cyclops didn't make the cut
By Keith MitchellNovember 5, 2025
MARVEL Cosmic Invasion release date and final roster

Now that we have the full roster of heroes confirmed for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, which launches on December 1, 2025, I know there are still some questions out there. Like, why isn’t your favorite superhero, including characters such as Cyclops, Scarlet Witch, Luke Cage, and others, included?

Well, you’re in luck, as Frederick Gemus and Yannick Belzil of Tribute Games have addressed this and more about the upcoming Marvel infused beat ’em up in a new video you’ll want to check out.

I’ve played a fair share of Marvel Cosmic Invasion, between the first hands on during Summer Game Fest 2025 and the demo that was released not too long ago. As someone who grew up in the golden age of arcade gaming, with titles like X-Men and Captain America and the Avengers eating up quarters that could have paid for college, I can’t wait to sit down and play the finished product next month.

As for Tribute Games, it looks like they have another hit on their hands. And if you were worried about this title being in the wrong hands, don’t be. Not only are Tribute Games great at what they do, they’re also big fans of the Marvel universe. I found that out firsthand when I tried to trip up Yannick Belzil and realized he knows his stuff.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion releases on December 1, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
