Octopath Traveler 0 Drops New Character Art and Screenshots

By Todd BlackOctober 14, 2025
Octopath Traveler 0, Tokyo Game Show

Square Enix is dropping some big RPGs this year for its fanbase, and one of those titles is Octopath Traveler 0, an upgraded/expanded version of the mobile title the publisher released a while back. To be clear, the new version has not only more characters but a much deeper story, village-building elements, and more. Given the game’s size and scope, Square Enix is dropping small bits of information every so often to highlight who and what is in the game. For example, in the latest batch of info that you can see below, there’s a swath of new characters being revealed and locations that are detailed:

Square Enix released new information for Octopath Traveler 0

– Pardis III, Ruler of All is the primary antagonist (but probably not that simple)
– Monster Arena built by progressing the story and lets you fight captured monsters
– Museum ~ Unlockable music, journals and… pic.twitter.com/qwhjSuYQJt

Part of the fun of Octopath Traveler 0 is being able to decide not only who’s in your 8-person party, but who you recruit to your village and how you choose to expand it. There are many gameplay elements here to dig into alongside the deep campaign. You can try the game out for yourself on December 4th.
