TGS 2025: Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Joe Higashi Will Be Playable

By Kevin KellySeptember 20, 2025
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Year 1 DLC Potentially Leaked

SNK has announced that the third Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Character Pass wolf, Joe Higashi, will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2025 at the Samsung SSD Booth. The Muay Thai “Stormy Man” will be kicking his way into making at least a quarter of this year dedicated to the Thailand-born art of fighting games. Fahkumram and Sagat held down summer for their respective games nearly back-to-back. It’s now Joe’s turn. It’s good to see Garou bring back kickboxing to the fray.

Joe is the final original Fatal Fury protagonist to join the Garou saga. Terry and Andy are already a part of the roster, so it makes sense to see Joe return, too. Hopefully, he’ll get some good footage for Lee Chaolan Pictures. Additionally, he may provide his protege, Preecha, with a more detailed backstory. Also, with the reason for his return to Southtown, and wearing glasses. Did Billy Kane do this to him because of Lily’s dating?

It’s hard to pinpoint what to expect from the master, but if the prediction is there, Joe will be borrowing from KOFXV if anything. Tiger Kicks all around. Joe has been a part of most of the King of Fighters games throughout the years, so it’s most likely he’ll get the Andy treatment with his set. Joe joins Andy, Ken, Chun-Li, and Mr. Big in the first Season DLC roster, which all come as free content for City of the Wolves.
