Video games have an effect on people that we sometimes don’t fully grasp until much later. Currently, it’s the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy IX, a game that many people are hoping to get a remaster/remake of soon. Square Enix isn’t giving any information away on that part, but they have been celebrating things in their own way. For example, they’ve released new art in honor of the anniversary, and now, they’ve asked some of their most famous creators to talk about what the game means to them. As you’ll see from the various posts below, some really big names weighed in on it, including Yoshi-P, Naoki Hamaguchi, and more! Check the testimonials out below:

There are some key insights here, including Yoshi-P talking about how he was surprised that Final Fantasy IX went back to the “old ways” after the more “modern takes” via Cloud Strife’s adventure and FF8.
Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait too long before the announcement they want is made. Fingers crossed!
