ELLEGARDEN Releases ONE PIECE Opening Theme “Carmine” Digitally

ELLEGARDEN’s latest single “Carmine” was released digitally on August 10. Their first new work in about three years—following their sixth album The End of Yesterday in 2022—the track was written as the opening theme for the TV anime ONE PIECE. This is the first time in the band’s history that they have created a song specifically for an anime.

The offer to create the opening theme was extended to vocalist and guitarist Takeshi Hosomi, a longtime fan of the series, leading to the collaboration. The song was released at 11:45 p.m., immediately after the episode in which it first aired.

The opening video is now available on the official ONE PIECE YouTube channel. The music video for “Carmine” will premiere on ELLEGARDEN’s official YouTube channel at 11:45 p.m. on August 17.
