bHaptics VR Accessories Getting a Price Hike in August

By Keith MitchellAugust 13, 2025
bHaptics VR Accessories price increase

We knew that it was only a matter of time before companies started raising prices due to the recent placement of these unrealistic tariffs by the President of the United States. We’ve already seen a handful of companies raising their prices, and now we can add bHaptics, known for its immersive haptic feedback gear, to the list.

bHaptics has announced that it will be increasing prices across its product line starting August 27, 2025. The company cites global policy changes, rising raw material costs, and adjustments to shipping and import handling as the primary reasons for the change.

In a statement, bHaptics said that for the past decade, its mission has been to bring high-quality, immersive digital experiences to as many people as possible at accessible prices. However, in light of current economic pressures, this price adjustment is a necessary step to maintain product quality and ongoing support.

Here’s how the bHaptics pricing will look once the price increases take effect this August 27th, 2025.

Product Previous Price New Price
TactSuit Air $249 $269
Starter Bundle $398 $418
TactSuit Pro $499 $529
FPS Bundle $648 $678
FPS Bundle + TactVisor $765 $789
Extension Strap (TactSuit Pro) $15 $20
TactGlove DK2 $249 $269
Inner Glove (TactGlove DK2) $15 $20

For customers in the United States, there will be an additional price increase at checkout to account for changes in import regulations and handling fees. We don’t know if the price will change depending on the item and the quantity ordered.

While price hikes are never welcome news, bHaptics stressed that these adjustments are necessary to continue delivering “excellent products and services” to its growing community of gamers, VR enthusiasts, and enterprise users.

Sadly, I don’t think that bHaptics will be the only company in the Virtual Reality, let alone the PC gaming or technology-related fields, that will be announcing a price increase as long as these unrealistic tariffs are in place.

As for bHaptics, I had the pleasure of trying out one of their Tact Suits at CES 2025, and I thought it was amazing. I promised myself that I’d order one once the VR accessory matured a bit. But seeing how the pricing has just increased, even just a little bit, I think that waiting any longer would be a mistake on my part. So look for some coverage of the bHaptics once mine gets delivered.
