Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans

This television series emphasizes its identity as a road movie centered on child soldiers. Episodes 1–25 comprise Season 1, followed by Season 2 covering Episodes 26–50. The story depicts a group of boys who rise from the lowest levels of society and continue pressing forward, simply to survive. From a mechanical design standpoint, the series features multiple mobile suits built on the same frame, with no beam weaponry—instead, the battles are marked by brutal melee combat using blunt-force weapons, offering a raw and grounded portrayal of mobile suit warfare.

In 2025, Iron-Blooded Orphans marks its 10th anniversary since the original broadcast in Japan. As part of its anniversary projects, a special compilation film— Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt -Path of the little Challenger- is scheduled for theatrical release on Friday, October 31 in Japan.
