It was announced by WEBTOON that Yongseok Jo’s Wind Breaker manhwa has been suspended as they investigate allegations that the series was using tracing. The series is not to be confused with Satoru Nii’s WIND BREAKER manga, as they are not the same series.
Shortly after the allegations and suspension, Yongseok Jo issued a statement citing that some of the reference materials he used were nearly identical to those from other works and stated that it was clearly his fault. He also mentioned that years of weekly deadlines compromised his creative standards. He offered his deep regrets to readers.
The similarities were also confirmed by WEBTOON.
