Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Launches August 5

SEGA® announced today Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is now available to pre-order on Nintendo Switch ahead of its launch in North America and Europe on August 5, 2025. The game will also be available August 5 on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Steam®.

As part of today’s announcement, SEGA has debuted the latest trailer showcasing the high-stakes Swordsmith Village Arc as portrayed in the game’s Story Mode:

Digital Pre-Orders Available Now on Nintendo eShop
Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99 USD MSRP)

Those who order the Digital Deluxe Edition will unlock the following:

  • Base game
  • 2 Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Keys – Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui
  • 4 Character Unlock Keys – Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima
  • VS Mode System Voice: Upper Rank Demons Set – Akaza, Daki, Gyutaro, Zohakuten, Gyokko
