Elena, the latest character joining the Street Fighter 6 roster, is finally making her return. Fans of Street Fighter III have been eagerly waiting to see her back in action. While you’ll still have to wait a bit longer to play as her (Elena won’t be available until June 5, 2025), GameSpot has shared some high-level CPU mirror match gameplay to hold us over until launch.
For those who have been frustrated about Elena now sporting some zebra-striped pants, her classic Street Fighter outfit is also featured in the video.
She will be the fourth and final addition to Street Fighter 6‘s Year 2 DLC lineup, joining M. Bison, Terry Bogard, and Mai Shiranui, priced at $29.99, or $49.99 for the Year 2 Ultimate Pass.
With her release coming two months ahead of Evo 2025, North America’s biggest fighting game tournament, players will have plenty of time to explore her moves and show off new tech on the main stage. I used to play Elena a bit back in my Street Fighter III: Third Strike days. She wasn’t my main (Ken for life), but I wasn’t too bad with her either. I might give her another shot once she drops in June.
Street Fighter 6 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and soon on the Nintendo Switch 2 with Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2.
