Our friend Getselious is back with another video review, this time taking a deep dive into Knights in Tight Spaces, the latest release from Ground Shatter. As the studio’s second Deck-Builder game, it has big shoes to fill—but how does it stack up against its predecessor? Has Ground Shatter refined and expanded on what made the original so enjoyable?

Join us as we explore the tactical, deck-building action of Knights in Tight Spaces and see whether it delivers a worthy evolution of the formula.

Game Name: Knights in Tight Spaces
Platform(s): PC
Developer(s): Ground Shatter

Summary

Knights in Tight Spaces takes everything that made Fights in Tight Spaces so enjoyable, tosses in a few new mechanics without touching the fundamental nature, and comes out with yet another enjoyable deck-builder game.

Pros

  • Various difficulties for any player at any skill level to enjoy from Pro deck-builder to the person who loves only one combo
  • Strong Diversity of strong strategies, not too gimmicky

Cons

  • Runs can be a bit longer compared to other roguelike deck-builder games
  • Sometimes the RNG of various runs can be repetitive with various of the same side quests
Overall
4.5
