Golden Sun OST Arrives In Nintendo Music

Great! We have the music...can be bring back the franchise now?

Golden Sun, Nintendo Music

I truly love getting to talk about the various soundtracks that get put into Nintendo Music. Why? It’s a walk down memory lane in many ways. It allows us to think about franchises and titles that we likely don’t ponder about much anymore, yet when we think of the soundtracks and the memories attached to the games; it’s a good feeling. So, what’s the latest epic Nintendo title on the music service? Why, it’s none other than the RPG classic Golden Sun! If you listen to the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast, you know that Skull Kid Scott is a HUGE fan of this series, so he’s really pumped for this.

For those who don’t know, the original Golden Sun titles were staples of the Game Boy Advance, and they’re both considered some of the greatest RPGs ever made. A 3DS continuation of the franchise was made much later, but it didn’t really capture what made the GBA titles so great. Still, having the original RPG’s soundtrack in the Nintendo Music app is a cool thing, especially since it’s over 50 songs:

Now, many will wonder if Nintendo is showing off this series because it wants to bring the franchise back, especially with the Switch 2 coming out this year. Hopefully, that is the case, as this series deserves either a remake or an entirely new entry. Oh, and we need Isaac in Smash Bros. Either or is acceptable!
