BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA Hits Steam October 2024

By Scott AdamsSeptember 4, 2024

BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA, the third-person psychological horror adventure developed by IchimatsuSuzuka in Unreal Engine 5 and published by Kodansha Game Creators’ Lab, brings spine-chilling terror to PC via Steam on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Encounter unsolved mysteries in the eerie Mt. Utaga-Yama as college student Garasu Yuki. After a strange creature assaults and kidnaps her beloved dog Chocolat, Yuki has only one lead: a slithering entity beneath the ground. To reunite with Chocolat, Yuki ventures into the dark depths of Mt. Utaga as night falls. Unveil the seemingly quiet town’s horrifying history while avoiding the monstrosities along the road.

As the story unfolds, the protagonist shifts to a young boy carrying his little sister through endless, identical corridors. Dodge the lethal attacks of a blood-soaked pursuer wielding a Japanese sword while searching for an escape route. As the clock winds down, help the boy and his sister navigate a way out for even the slimmest chance at survival.

IchimatsuSuzuka, a veteran developer renowned for his works on GOHOME and 夜詛YASO curse of soirée, has garnered over 95 million views on YouTube. To celebrate the upcoming launch of BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA, renowned horror manga artist Suehiro Maruo today reveals a gorgeously chaotic key visual.

“BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA presents an unearthly experience that can tear your heart into pieces,” said IchimatsuSuzuka, the creator of the title. “As an avid horror enjoyer, I always wanted to create games that evoke the deepest fears, and I can’t wait to see fans of fear explore our creepy world!”

BAN: The Prologue of GUCHA GUCHA arrives on PC via Steam on October 23, 2024. It will support English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. To learn more, check out the YouTube channel, and follow IchimatsuSuzuka and Kodansha Creators’ Lab on Twitter/X.
