Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Unlock Vanellope

By Faith LaneDecember 5, 2023

Vanellope von Schweetz is the fastest racer in Sugar Rush – her hometown in the world of Wreck-It Ralph. Not long ago, Disney Dreamlight Valley welcomed her into the world, making her a new character that players can invite to live in the Valley after the Forgetting. With the multiplayer feature requiring Vanellope to be unlocked, players will really want to make sure that they unlock her to get the most out of their game. This guide will go over everything she needs to know in order to unlock her character in the Valley.

How To Unlock Vanellope

Vanellope von Schweetz will be a pretty easy character to unlock, especially if you love doing some decorating. Players will first need to head over to speak with Scrooge McDuck, and this will begin the questline of Haunting of Dreamlight Valley. This is the quest that will allow us to meet Vanellope and find her located in the Dream Castle.  She will be found at the very top of the staircase by the fountain that can be found there.

After talking to little Vanellope, we will learn that she has been having some issues with staying in the Valley due to her glitch. This is when she will ask if the player can take some pictures of things in the Valley located outside the Castle – this is also when players will unlock the DreamSnaps feature, which will help them unlock more Moonstones.

Once the DreamSnaps feature is unlocked, players can access it from the Events tab in the menu area, and that is where the themes can be found. Players will also receive 50 Moonstones for voting for the last challenge; a new one will be posted every week. After that, Scrooge McDuck’s quest will be completed, and Vanellope will begin another one, which will soon lead to making a small candy biome right in your Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
