Without a doubt, one of the more interesting outfits in the Soulslike title, Lies of P, is the one that belongs to Alidoro. I love dogs, and the fact that Alidoro is rocking a hound mask is adorable, but hardcore at the same time. Of course, I needed to get this outfit, but as I discovered, the Alidoro outfit isn’t one we can get by official means.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t get it. We just need to be creative, and thanks to the efforts of the modder known as deadjack133, I was able to get my doggo outfit. And I’ll show you how to get it, also. Well, some of you, at least.
How to get Alidoro’s costume in Lies of P
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to get access to Alidoro’s outfit and mask. It isn’t a costume that we can find or be rewarded with in Lies of P, which is rather frustrating. However, that’s to the fantastic work of modders; PC gamers can still get access to Alidoro’s costume. But for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S gamers, you’ll have to wait until there is an official way to access this.
For PC gamers, a mod replaces the Mad Donkey outfit with that of Alidoro’s. To get access to this, head to Nexusmods and grab this mod. Then it’s just a matter of dropping the mod into the correct location. This includes both the Steam and Xbox/Windows versions of the game.
What’s even better is that there are multiple outfits with a few differences between them. It will be up to you to decide which one you want, but they all look good.
And while this mod is only for the PC, not to worry. The developers of Lies of P have announced that an official Alidoro outfit will be coming to the game in an upcoming update, which will be released in November 2023.
How to Install the Mod
If you are already a member of Nexusmods, you’ll need to make an account. Once you’ve done this or logged in and downloaded the mod by following this link.
Extract the file and copy/paste it into the Lies of P directory. In the examples below, I am using the D: drive, but you can change this depending on where you have your Lies of P install location.
For the Steam version of Lies of P – D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Lies of P\LiesofP\Content\Paks\
For PC Game Pass version – D:\XBoxGames\Lies of P\Content\ LiesofP\Content\Paks\
That’s it! Once you do this and switch to the Mad Donkey outfit, you can access the Alidoro outfit. You will not be able to change masks once this is in place, however.
