Co-op Update Deux or Die Announced for Infernax

By Keith MitchellFebruary 28, 2023
Infernax - Duex or Die co-op update

One of my favorite games of 2022, Infernal, is about to get even more awesome thanks to a free update for the game that adds co-op, entitled ‘Deux or Die.’

Scheduled for a Spring 2023 release, Duex or Die, will allow two players to play through the entire game. This update also introduces a new playable character; Cervul the Squire, son of Harold, and the Unenthusiastic Heir to the Brown Mound, who also features his unique moveset. There will also be new items to play around with.

Lastly, you can play the game with two characters, and by activating the Gun Mode, where you can play convert Infernax into a similar Konami favorite, Contra. You do know the Konami code, don’t you?

Multiplayer will be both couch co-op, as well as playable online. Which is great if you’re like me and don’t have any friends around. Just remember not to fight over who gets which character.

Infernax is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
