Tapas Recaps Their Attendance at San Diego Comic-Con

By Josh PiedraJuly 26, 2022

Tapas held their first-ever booth at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

At their booth, The Kao stopped by several times for autograph sessions involving the graphic novel version of his webcomic, Magical Boy.

Tapas also hit the floor to mingle and interact with the SDCC crowd, offering photo ops to anyone who wished to have one.

Friday night, Tapas sponsored The Eisners and had their second year of nominations with Navillera: Like A Butterfly for Best Webcomic.

In addition to SDCC, Tapas had an article in the Sunday Arts section of the New York Times which featured them and how webcomics are bringing in new readers. You can check out the article here: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/23/arts/digital-comics-new-readers.html
