Here’s what you’ll need to play Monster Hunter Rise PC

We’re a few days away from the launch of Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise PC.  This means it’s time to see if your PC is up to the task of playing the game. Not sure if it is? As we’ve dug up the minimum and recommended specs to play the game, not to worry.

For those wondering what’s in store for those who pick up the PC version, there are lots. In addition to supporting up to 4K visuals and ultrawide monitor support, there’s also higher-res textures, a higher frame rate, to name a few features. For those who enjoy playing these types of games with a keyboard and mouse, you’ll be happy to know that the game features optimized keyboard and mouse controls with the ability to rebind and set shortcuts for actions.

Monster Hunter Rise PC is currently available for preorder on Steam, priced at $59.99 for the standard edition and $74.98 for the deluxe edition.

Monster Hunter Rise PC requirements

We know it’s rough out there when it comes to building or upgrading a gaming PC. So please take a look at the Monster Hunter Rise PC requirements to ensure that you’re able to play the game. It’s worth noting that while the hardware requirements are hefty, this is yet another game that requires Windows 10 or above. Anyone that’s running Windows 7 or 8 won’t be able to play the title.

There’s no need for any super-duper GPUs or CPUs for that matter. So it’s not that huge of a deal if you can’t get a hold of Nvidia’s, Intel’s or AMD’s latest and greatest. Though, having any of those won’t hurt if you’re looking to play at a higher frame rate, resolution of if you just want to get the best experience as possible.

Minimum / Required Specs:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit)
Processor: Intel Core i3-4130 or Core i5-3470 or AMD FX-6100
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 (DDR4) or AMD Radeon RX 550
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 23 GB available space
