We will no longer cover Activision Blizzard titles for the foreseeable future

You may have heard of the news coming out of Activision Blizzard due to its inhumane behavior. If not, please check out the piece that Camilo Olmedo has written that explains the situation. As such, The Outerhaven will no longer cover anything that involves the company. We will not cover news on any current or upcoming games, including Call of Duty, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, or anything else. Nor will we conduct any reviews of said games. We understand fully that this could hurt us in the long run, but we support those who have been wronged and will not support the company that has wronged those people but continues to act like nothing is happening.

We’ll, of course, continue to cover the situation, but until the company cleans up its act, game coverage is off the table indefinitely.

As for those who’ll undoubtedly tell us to shut up and just cover games, we say to you, “NOPE!”. We will not turn a blind eye to what is happening. This person being affected could be your mother, sister, cousin, friend, or someone you care deeply for. Are you telling us you don’t care about those being affected? If so, well, that’s your prerogative, but for us, we won’t stand for it.

We regret that this decision may affect our readers and long-time fans, and we do apologize. However, we will not stand for this sort of behavior, and we hope you understand.
