Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Has Three Times The Original Dev Team

By Todd BlackJune 27, 2021
Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope

Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope may have been leaked before E3 2021 came about, but when we got to see more of the game in action via the Ubisoft reveal, we learned just how grand and crazy the title was going to be. Mario and his Rabbid allies are going into space and fighting a new enemy called Curse and things are truly going to be galactic sized.

Multiplayer.it, recently spoke with Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope developers Davide Soliani and Cristina Nava, and in their chat, it was revealed that the team for Kingdom Battle was about 100 people. But for Sparks of Hope? It’s three times that size as they’re pulling in from their other studios to go and not just refine the game, but make it as big as possible!

But that wasn’t all they revealed…

– The team composition doesn’t have any limits this time around, you can go all Rabbids or all Mario characters if you so chose
– This was said to be one of multiple fan demands/suggestions the team took very seriously
– The player seemingly has no limit of movement within the movement range
– The development team and general scope of the project as stated previously has grown considerably
– Free camera
– The exploration element is less linear, but the game isn’t open world

Check out the reveal below, and hold tight as the game will debut in 2022!
