Time to meet the rest of the party of Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny.
We last saw the game was in regards to the gameplay mechanics and features. Teaching about the basics of combat, the assembly and the new mechanics of the Super Reincarnation and quality of life improvements.
Now, Nippon Ichi Software has released a new trailer in regards to the rest of the cast outside of the main three of the previous trailer.
Zed, the Main Character. The zombie who claims to have defeated the God of Destruction. Utilizing the newest mechanic of Super Reincarnation to take the God down.
Beiko, Zed’s little Sister. The bubbly zombie that you just can’t say no to. Zed will do whatever to please her.
Cerberus, the companion zombie dog. One who is knowledgeable and is a witness to Zed’s past.
Melodia, a princess. She comes off as a bit of an air head. Plus it seems that she has gone through 666 princes before meeting Zed. To which we assume that Zed is the next “prince” she set her eyes on. Her dress as well leaves not much to the imagination, so some fan service for you people of culture.
Misedor, a King from the Human world who is a numismatist. He believes that as long he has riches and gold, he can bribe anything and anyone. He even believes he can bribe the God of Destruction to go away. Good luck with that…
Piyori Nijino, a Prisim Ranger. The staple sentai squad throughout the Disgaea series. With Justice and the power of the rainbow, they will do what they can to save the world.
Majolene, a magical girl. Naturally in the world of Disgaea, you got to have at least a witch. But in this case, a fully certified anime magical girl. Course they got Cristina Vee to voice her, given her track record with Shantae, Sailor Moon and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It also appears that she is a teacher of sorts given her mention of protecting her students.
Finally, we have Ivar, a high and mighty Overlord. He mentions that a hero arrives fashionably late. A Overlord becoming a hero? Perhaps he seeks to destroy the God of Destruction before Zed is able to.
Seems that you and Zed will have a interesting party when you will face off with the God of Destruction this coming Summer 2021.
