While Capcom seems adamant of not blessing the world with another Dragon’s Dogma title (among others), they are perfectly fine with working on a new animated feature, alongside Netflix. As such we have our first official trailer that provides a look into the animated world of Netflix’s ‘Dragon’s Dogma’.

After losing his home to a dragon, Ethan sets out to hunt it down once and for all. A pawn appears by his side and serves to protect his life. But the dangers that lie in wait for Ethan are beyond their imaginations, for when you fight a monster… you just may become one too. Resurrected as an Arisen, Ethan sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart. But with every demon he battles, his humanity slips further away.
Netflix’s Dragon’s Dogma is directed by Shinya Sugai, executive produced by Taiki Sakurai, scripted by Kurasumi Sunayama, with Iku Nishimura as the designer. Animation studio Sublimation is handling the animation duties. It currently isn’t know how many episodes this season will contain.
Dragon’s Dogma premieres on Netflix this September 17th, 2020. Fans of Dragon’s Dogma, get ready to binge it all down because we’re not getting a new game. So this will do, for now anyway.
