Here’s your first look at the PlayStation 5 game case

I’m sure many of you out there have been waiting to see what the gaming cases for PlayStation 5 games will look like. Right? Ok, I know I’m being sarcastic, but seriously, this is what PlayStation announced today, so that’s what we’re talking about.

At first glance, it looks exactly like the same cases for PlayStation 4 games, doesn’t it? The same translucent blue cases with the liner on the inside. Maybe it’s just me but seeing how the PlayStation 5 is white, I figured that perhaps we’d get some different looking cases. Maybe a translucent white case, which would look pretty amazing if you ask me.

Still, this doesn’t look bad either and you know the old saying “if it ain’t broke, leave it alone.”. Hopefully, we’ll eventually get different color variants as well. As for me, it doesn’t matter as I’m going with the all-digital PlayStation 5.

Now that the game case announcement (ahem) is done, perhaps Sony will finally give us a price.

What do you think about the new look? Is it more of the same or do you like the PlayStation 5 case look? Let us know in the comments below!
