Bioware’s Upcoming Sci-fi Title Anthem Has Gone Gold

By Keith MitchellJanuary 23, 2019
Anthem is gold

Anthem, a title I’m very much looking forward to has just gone gold. For those that aren’t sure what that means, it’s a fancy word for saying the game is ready to go retail.

That’s all you really need to say, but let’s say it again. Bioware’s upcoming sci-fi title, Anthem, has gone gold. Meaning that the game is ready to drop on its release date and everyone will finally get to see what all the hype is about.

When EA and Bioware said they were working on a new IP that would let us explore a new world in suits that make even the most jaded Ironman fan jump with excitement, I was onboard.

Now that I’ve seen the game in action and seen some a glimpse of what we’ll be able to do, as well as the narrative and the setup. Well, let’s just say that I plan on diving in head first into Anthem and I don’t expect to come up for air anytime soon. Javelins, lots of weapons, stuff to find and blow up, not to mention a massive world? I’m all in, 100%

Of course, the VIP demo is also this weekend, starting on Jan. 25 to Jan. 27, 2019. Followed up with the open demo that starts on Feb. 1, 2019. So if you aren’t sure about the game yet, these demos are the perfect chance to check it out.

Anthem releases on February 22, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you picking up the game? If so, what platform and are you going solo or with a group? Let us know in the comments below.
