Thank s to PlayStation Lifestyle, we’re able to see three minutes of SEGA’s upcoming Sonic Mania Plus. Now, while it is a quick peek, there’s quite a bit of new footage being shown. Such as the new pinball bonus game that stars Dr. Robotnik/Eggman at the controls of a crane prize machine. You’ll also get a look at one of the remixed stages from the Encore Mode.

Sonic Mania Plus releases on July 17th for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. This new edition adds two new characters; Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. As well as a new encore mode which remixes existing levels and tosses in several new bosses.
Existing owners of Sonic Mania will be able to upgrade to Sonic Mania Plus for $5. However, collectors may want to look at picking up the standard edition as it provides a holographic slipcover, a reversible sleeve, and a 32-page art book.
