Octopath Traveler Gets North American Commercial

By Todd BlackJune 25, 2018
Octopath Traveler

We’re a little over two weeks away from the release of the highly anticipated title from Square Enix, Octopath Traveler. This unique RPG that’s coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch will feature a story with 8 very different protagonists, each with their own stories to tell and battles to fight. You’ll start off as one character, then be able to pick up the rest of the characters on your journey. Finish the story character by character, or weave in and out until all are done. The choice is yours.

Octopath Traveler recently released its second trailer, and it reinforced why this game is a must-have for Switch owners. The game was basically released in full via the demo, but you only had 3 hours to play the game before being stopped. Many played and enjoyed the demo, and some didn’t want to play it because they want to wait for the full game to release. Which is poetic, as the Square Enix team behind the game has said it will NOT have any DLC.

And now, Square Enix has released the first North American commercial for the game, showing off the characters, the world, the battles, and more. You can check it out below.

Octopath Traveler arrives on July 13th.
