Nintendo Switch

It’s a great day to be a Nintendo fan, as today, Nintendo proudly and happily revealed that the Nintendo Switch has sold 10 million units worldwide in just about 9 months, a completely staggering amount.

The Nintendo Switch went from mystery to phenomenon in just a couple of months. Codenamed the NX at the beginning, a small commercial unveiled it as the “Switch”, and then, in January, a major reveal event showed just how serious Nintendo was about this console. Showing off games like ARMS, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (review coming soon), and starting off at launch with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

It’s been an amazing year for Nintendo, and many fans are already holding their breath for what 2018 may hold for the console. So, if you were part in the rebirth of Nintendo as a console giant, pat yourself on the back, you deserve the smiles you got while playing the Switch. And if you’re still waiting to get your hands on the Nintendo Switch, just hold on, once you get it, your life will be even better.
