There seems to be no place that Nier: Automata’s 2B won’t appear these days. PlatinumGames / Square Enix 2017 title’s character has a bunch of appearances outside of her own game, including Soulcalibur 6, Monster Hunter, and even the party game Fall Guys. The katana-wielder and her companion continue their conquest of … games in Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. There’s probably another logical explanation for why she’s here from the future. 2B’s kit seems consistent with her appearance in Soulcalibur 6. Her normals rely on one of her katanas at a bit of a long reach and medium speed range. Her support Pod 42 has a few tricks of its’ own, including a bit of a tag to help with her Skybound Art and a bit of short-range machine gun attack.
2B comes to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising in late February as a DLC Character. Lucilius (January 2024), Vane (April 2024), and Beatrix (May 2024) have been revealed so far to join 2B, with two more characters left to be shown.
