First up is the Capcom Spotlight Stream kicks off at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET and will run for 20 minutes. During this event, Capcom will showcase a new Monster Hunter Wilds trailer, alongside updates for other titles such as Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

Immediately following the Spotlight Stream, Capcom will host a 15-minute Monster Hunter Wilds showcase, likely revealing a new monster and details about the upcoming second Monster Hunter Wilds beta. The beta will take place on two separate dates:
- February 6-9 from 7:00 PM to 6:59 AM PT (10:00 PM to 9:59 AM ET).
- February 13-16 from 7:00 PM to 6:59 AM PT (10:00 PM to 9:59 AM ET).
For those hungry for more Monster Hunter Wilds news, today is a goldmine of information!
Speaking of the game, The Outerhaven recently had hands-on time with the Monster Hunter Wilds beta, and I walked away thoroughly impressed. Check out my full impressions here to see why I can’t wait for the game’s release.
Outside of everything we’ve seen about Monster Hunter Wilds, perhaps the biggest reveal so far is the addition of cross-play. While Capcom was adamant about not adding cross-play in Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Wilds will not only have it but will unite PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players on hunts together. It’s fantastic, and perhaps we have a certain Monster Hunting title that was ambitious but is now pretty much on life support, to thank.
I’m talking about Wild Hearts, which was released back in 2023. I’m sure Capcom took notice of that game and realized that cross-play helped it gain more attention. Surely, it will do the same for Capcom’s flagship title for 2025.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches on February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
