The Nintendo Switch 2 Hands-On Events Start In April

The reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this morning stunned a lot of people because it was basically “shadow-dropped” by Nintendo. Then again, given all the leaks and rumors about it getting shown today, The Big N likely just thought it would be funnier to do it this way. Either way, the new system is coming this year and we know when we’ll get our first big Nintendo Direct for it via the April 2nd announcement. However, Nintendo also revealed other information that will be interesting to some of you.

Specifically, on their official website, the company announced the “Nintendo Switch 2 Experience,” where you’ll get hands-on opportunities to try the new system. Here are the dates you should know about:

  • New York April 4-6
  • Paris April 4-6
  • London April 11-13
  • Los Angeles April 11-13
  • Berlin April 25-27
  • Dallas April 25-27
  • Milan April 25-27
  • Toronto April 25-27
  • Amsterdam May 9-11
  • Madrid May 9-11
  • Melbourne May 10-11
  • Tokyo April 26-27
  • Seoul May 31-June 1

Hong Kong and Taipei are also getting events but no dates have been attached as of yet. This also backs up the belief that the system will get a June release date, as that’s when the “experience” ends.
